Peggy is the Co-Owner and Business Manager and handles the finances and internal logistics of running a small business. In addition, she is in charge of our St. Louis studio where she greets talent and manages bookings.
Married to Bill Kaufman in 1979, she’s been with Kaufman Broadcast since the beginning. While Peggy now holds the title Business Manager, she has done everything from engineering to accounting over her 30 years with Kaufman. When the company first began, Peggy was the secretary, financial advisor and assistant engineer! Her job is now mostly behind a desk, but her history in the satellite industry gives her a breath of knowledge that well exceeds her job title.
Peggy’s non-business interests include art, classic literature, gardening and history. She supports a number of St. Louis institutions including the Missouri Botanical Garden, St. Louis Symphony, St. Louis Art Museum and the Gateway Festival Orchestra. She has also worked for the past 15 years as a year-round volunteer at The Greater St. Louis Book Fair.
