The 2012 MLB season has reached its halfway point, which means the 83rd All-Star Game is upon us! Kansas City is playing host this year, and Kaufman Broadcast is there in full force. Our 24/7 Kansas City studio is serving as a feed point for foreign broadcasters, while transportable uplinks HD1 and HD2 are on location.
HD1 – Paul Lawless and Niels Black are at Country Club Plaza, coordinating a live FOX Satellite Media Tour, featuring Joe Buck, Tim McCarver, and the newest broadcast team member Erin Andrews. The SMT is broadcast to FOX affiliates around the country, to introduce Erin, and promote FOX’s exclusive coverage of the Midsummer Classic.
HD2 – Mike Witzel and Brad Wood are at Kauffman Stadium with four simultaneous uplinks for Comcast, NBC Sports Network, Sportstalk, and Canadian broadcaster TSN.
